Founder / Art Director
Born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica, I'm a Computer Engineer by trade and I'm passionate about everything that has to do with technology, new tech-savvy gadgets, and grown-up toys. To understand why photography, we have to go back to 2011. Back then, I used to work in a fast-paced sales organization and I was made aware that I was not what most would call a people-friendly person or easy to work with, let alone collaborative, I was a lone-wolf. A close friend of mine pointed out how working on that could open doors for me in the future so I decided to find something to help me work it out.
As a person that loves challenges and solving problems, I found out that in photography you needed to communicate well and create a meaningful connection in a short period with their clients and models. Also, another upside was that they used technology in the form of a camera as their weapon of choice. I was here when I decided to buy my first camera. Shortly after the first few photoshoots, I realized that talking to strangers and engaging in small talk with them made me uncomfortable, however, I was falling in love with the artistry and creativity of photography.
Years went by learning and practicing, trying to surround myself and work with people that were better than me to learn from them both in craft and skills. I started figuring out how to also teach myself and challenge me on what I needed to know for the next photo. But it was only after I felt good with the quality and consistency of my photos that I really found why photography became more than just a thing I do after work, but an important part of my life and a passion: Through a camera lens I could capture other people's feelings, emotions, thoughts, and even desires and evoke those same sentiments on more people when they see my photos.
